Šestka Shopping Centre opens to public

On 14 November 2006 at 9 AM the new Šestka Shopping Centre opened to the public in Prague 6; the new facility was built over the course of one year near the airport, at the crossroads of Evropská St. and the Prague bypass motorway.

Visitors attention is first drawn by the unusual design of the structure, as the façade of the building is covered by lawns that blend in with the surrounding landscape. In addition to restaurants, cafés, fast food, and a HYPERNOVA hypermarket, the 30,000 m2 Šestka Shopping Centre offers one hundred shops, some of which are well-known names and others that are newcomers to the Czech market. Other retail units include a selection of food stores, drug stores, home appliances, electrical goods, shoe stores, sporting goods, and toys.
